I talked to my friend Mary about the vaccine/autism issue. She’s been doing quite a lot of work in the autism community. She agrees that we need to widen the discussion to make sure that parents understand that due to the extreme sensitivity of children to toxins and the extremely toxic nature of the world we inhabit, simply not vaccinating is not enough to protect your child.

I’ve been thinking about the take down of the human immune system. You always say they plans things well in advance. At the turn of the century in the US there were hundreds of thousands of homeopathic doctors and others who worked WITH the immune response. The AMA (American Medical Association) was formed specifically to take the homeopaths out. The Sulpha drugs were introduced, worked like miracles and allopathy started to take over and to take form.

Genes carry the information that tells the body what to do and when to do it; the reading of this information is called “gene expression.” Epigenetics describes how the proteins forming the environment around genes—the epigenome—changes how they are expressed. We now know environmental toxins, like mercury and pesticides, along with nutritional deficiencies, can change the epigenome and alter the regulation of how genes are expressed, with adverse impacts on the development of the brain and nervous system.
